This platform allows digital lending of Egea publications to users who authenticate via IDEM through entities that have activated a specific agreement with the publisher.

In the case of federated authentication, the following attributes are retrieved for authenticated users:

Purpose of the processing of personal data

For users authenticated via IDEM, all attributes retrieved from the connection to the identity provider will be saved and used by Egea solely to enable service delivery.

Third parties to whom personal data is disclosed

Personal data collected by Egea through IDEM will not be transferred to third parties.

How to access, rectify and delete the personal data

Data retention

Personal data retrieved via IDEM are retained by Egea to enable the provision of the service, such data will be deleted upon the user's request or if the user has not used the service for two years.

Data Protection Code of Conduct

Personal data will be protected according to the Code of Conduct for Service Providers, a common standard for the research and higher education sector to protect the user's privacy.
